Designed for Emigre in 1992 by Jonathan Barnbrook. A Decorated Serif has Capitals and Small Caps as a Regular and Alternative variants, together with Superior Small Caps. Some letterforms of the typeface are resembling the Roman monumental inscriptions, the others are like signs from the Mediaeval manuscripts, and the thirds have original shapes. Its untrivial letterforms make it a useful typeface for advertising and display work as well as for short text composition. Cyrillic version developed for ParaType in 2001 by Vladimir Yefimov. |
