Description |
The hand composition typeface was created at Polygrafmash in 1959 by well-known Soviet book and type designer Pavel Kuzanyan (1901-1992). It was redeveloped in 1960s for slugcasting and machine display composition. Sharp contrasted, strong weighted, slightly condensed Modern Serif with calligraphic elements. The typeface is useful in text and display composition, in scientific, fiction and art books. A set of decorative elements (initials, borders, fleurons) is included. The revised and completed digital version was designed at ParaType in 2001 by Lyubov Kuznetsova. |
