| Description | Designed for ParaType in 1999 by Gayaneh Bagdasaryan. Based on monospaced Letter Gothic font by Roger Robertson, 1956-62. Due to clear and easy-to-read lettershapes of Letter Gothic the font is rather popular now in display and advertising matter. The idea was to create a font similar to Letter Gothic in lettershapes but with proportional width of letters. For use on both dislpay and text setting. New Letter Gothic has been adjudged Award of Excellence in Type Design of Kyrillitsa'99 International type design competition in Moscow, 1999. |
